• Responsible for managing new and existing projects to completion.
• Verify Design Input and Output requirements.
• Participate in design review, verification, validation activities.
• Prepare design calculations, sketches, drafting, final drawings, material selection and packages.
• Monitor and manage designs to the latest standard releases.
• Interface with production to ensure product designs can be manufactured with respect to quality, quantity, functionality and cost requirements.
• Analyze test data and reports to determine designs meet functional and performance specifications.
• Review customer documents on receipt to ensure its completeness.
• Organise / take part in contract review pre-quote initiation & review meetings.
• All in-house co-ordination for preparation of quote including follow-up, collection of input from various subcontractors or suppliers or 3rd parties. 
• Clear understanding of work scope & best estimation with respect to the execution of the project.
• Ensure the estimate is built up methodically and in sufficient detail and is in accordance with good estimating practice.
• Proactively work with the Procurement Group to ensure Vendor's RFQ Technical and Commercial evaluations are completed in a timely manner.
•  Assist Management in the identification, evaluation and ranking of risks.
• Ensure that quote price and technical schedules are complete and accurate.
• Carry out peer review of estimates compiled by others, checking for completeness, pricing accuracy and adequate manning and resource requirements.
• Maintain the Lessons Learnt database from existing projects. 

• Good to excellent working knowledge in the oilfield as API Q1, API Product standards such as 6A, 16A, 16C, etc, & ASNYS. 
• Proficient in AutoCAD Inventor, Mathcad, Analysis and Solidworks.
• Experience in Design, calculation, drawing preparation and estimations. 
• Innovations and quick adoption of new technology. 
• Skilled in Design and Develop relevant solutions based on customer requirements.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines.
• API product knowledge.
• Good command of the English language.
• Minimum 7 years of experience.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
